For the third time over four years, the GreenFlexJET project has attended the European Biomass Conference and Exhibition (EUBCE) in May 2022. An online workshop dedicated to Market outlook and EU-funded R&I actions on Sustainable Aviation Fuels was hosted on Monday 9 May, organized by GreenFlexJet together with Bio4A project.

In this workshop, international experts from companies and research institutions presented the state of the SAF market and the most recent EU-funded research and innovation actions which are aiming to develop SAF products from a variety of biomass sources and with innovative bioconversion routes. SkyNRG was involved together with four EU projects focused on SAF: Bio4A, GreenFlexJET, FLITE and GLAMOUR.

Artur Majewski (University of Birmingham) presented the GreenFleJET project and its innovative process combining SABR and TCR technologies to produce SAF, focusing on the multiple routes of SAF production from diverse range of organic waste feedstocks.

He also presented a poster and related paper on this project at the Conference.
